Wonderfest

The brief

Clout hired me as a freelance developer to build a WordPress website for Wonderfest. Wonderfest is a mental health festival hosted by Welsh charity Platfform. The festival aims to promote positive mental health and wellbeing among young people by offering a variety of activities, workshops, and performances. From music and art to meditation and mindfulness, Wonderfest provides a space for young people to explore and engage with different approaches to mental health. With a focus on creating a safe and inclusive environment, Wonderfest is an exciting event for young people in Wales.

The design for the Wonderfest website was based on the concept of a festival poster. Clout wanted the website to convey the excitement and energy of the festival. To achieve this, they created an illustrative frame around the edge of the site that resembled a physical festival poster. The frame was designed to be responsive and adjust to different screen sizes, which was a challenge we had to overcome. We worked hard to ensure that the design remained effective and visually striking, while still being functional and easy to navigate for users.
